Y3 Trip to Stockton Heath

In December, Year 3 took a lovely winter stroll down to Stockton Heath Village to carry out a geography questionnaire. The aim was to find out why people like Stockton Heath Village and why people move into the area for our settlements topic. We had so many insightful conversations with amazing members of the community who took time out of their day to answer our questions. A special thank you to the parent volunteers, the trip wouldn't have been possible without you. The children had a great time and spoke with so much politeness and confidence. They particularly enjoyed the tasty hot chocolate kindly provided by a gentleman who we stopped to ask questions on his way to work. Work being the manager at Starbuck over the road. What an amazing act of kindness he showed our children, it definitely spread some Christmas cheer.

Loving to learn,
learning to love like Jesus
