St Monica's BSL Choir
We are so proud of our BSL choir who were able to attend the 2024 Anti-Bullying Schools Project event in St George’s Hall in Liverpool. With hundreds of children from other schools in the region, they performed songs in British Sign Language and listened to speakers supporting this year’s Anti Bullying Week theme: Choose Respect. They also met VIPs including the Lord Mayor of Liverpool, and comedians John Bishop and Gavin Lilley who presented them with their certificates at the end. It was a really inspiring event and St Monica’s children were great ambassadors. They will help the rest of the school learn one of their performance songs in Sign Language during assembly next week as part of our Anti-Bullying Week events.
